BCom marks decade of success with acquisition of Veracity Media and updated brand

With the acquisition of the DC-based firm, Veracity Media, BCom becomes one of the largest digital firms in the industry.

BCom has been trusted by national campaigns, corporations and nonprofit partners for digital advertising, fundraising and consulting services for over a decade.

The combined company efforts of Veracity Media and BCom will allow the firm to expand its full-service digital offerings with experts in digital advertising, an in-house creative department with design, video and photography services and strategists, across industries ranging from political campaigns to corporate clients and nonprofit partners. 

While BCom will continue to be headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, the company has strategists located across the country with a strong presence in Washington, D.C. Members of BCom’s leadership team will be positioned in Nebraska, California, Washington D.C. and Georgia. 

In addition to the acquisition, BCom has announced that Cara Schumann has joined the firm to serve as managing director, campaigns to oversee the acquisition and expand client services. Schumann has nearly a decade of experience on the official and political sides in digital and communications strategy, including work for Sens. Amy Klobuchar, Doug Jones, Maggie Hassan and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

The combined firm has a rich portfolio spanning industries, from providing digital advertising services, to earning TIME Invention of the Year honors, to crafting capital campaigns for nonprofits in the Heartland of America, to raising millions of dollars for candidates for office. Among those elected officials with whom the combined firm has provided services are Reps. Eric Swalwell, Becca Balint, Frank Mrvan, Andy Kim, Sanford Bishop, Jahana Hayes, Hank Johnson, Yvette Clarke and Stacey Plaskett, as well as Lt. Governor Austin Davis, several attorneys general, mayors, state legislators and municipal candidates across the country. Corporate and advocacy clients include The Fairness Project, NextEra Energy, Build Alaska’s Future Fund and several local/state caucuses, parties and non-profit coalitions.

Together, BCom expands its capabilities to include expertise in:
